In China, a design patent can’t be enforced if disclosed by the prior design. In one case, we found that a post on FB had disclosed the opposition's patent. However, it is illegal to connect to FB in accordance with the internet regulations of China. We utilized a legal blockchain platform to connect to the post on FB and submitted such proof to the CNIPA.
Eventually, the CNIPA invalidated the design, based on that post.
